riveria maya – mexico- topless beaches at the occidental grand?

Posted on Sep 30, 2009 under Mexico Beaches | 2 Comments

is there any topless beaches near the occidential grand xcaret in riveria maya , mexico. if not how close are the from this hotel?

The beaches in Mexico are by and large family orientated. It’s illegal to go nude but I have seen women indiscreetly go topless. With that said I heard around the corner from the man made beach on Occidential Grand Xcaret is a small area to sun bath topless. I can’t confirm this.

Good Luck)

Is there a Caribbean beach with huge boulders to walk thru/climb on? (similar to The Baths on Virgin Gorda)?

Posted on Sep 30, 2009 under Caribbean Beaches | 2 Comments

I’ve been to The Baths beach on Virgin Gorda (BVI) and it is simply spectacular. The "hike" through the rocks to Devil’s Bay is amazing! It does get crowded though, and I’d like to find an alternative. Are there any other Caribbean beaches with big rocks (like the Baths) for climbing through and on?

My family and I thank you for your suggestions!

Nope there are no others, really and they deffinatly wont be as you expect them to be base on your experiences.

Are there any good beaches within driving distance from Mexico City?

Posted on Sep 28, 2009 under Mexico Beaches | 3 Comments

We are flying in to Mexico City and staying there a few days, but wanted to spend part of the week somewhere along the coast. We were hoping to find somewhere we could get to by car in five hours or less, but we don’t want to go anywhere super-crowded, like Acapulco.. Suggestions?

When you factor in the cost of gas and all thoughs km.and there are no bargains on the rentals you may consider a1hour flight to Puerto Escondito. Great little spot and south of Acapulco. Flights can be puchased for $80 U.S. dollars each way.
