are there topless beaches in the Caribbean?

I have also been to st maarten, on the dutch and french side, and yes this is true, there is a few nude beaches there, so no worries. If i may be so bold also to suggest….. i myself cannot sunbathe with a bikini top on, i feel like im wearing a sweater, and those dreaded tan lines..yuck, patuey!!!! So, myself i have been to quite a few islands but even say a place like cuba where it is more conservative, you can still tan topless, we would just walk down the beach a bit away from families and crowd, also since you are are a young girl and will be im assuming with some girls your age you wont want a pack of kids running circles around you anyways.
You may get some looks, oh well, but this is probably the most cost efficient place to travel, st maarten although nice, its pretty boring, not much in the way of night life like other islands and it is very expensive to stay there. So wherever you go, you are a paying guest like all the others so dont be shy to go topless, even if its not a topless beach, as i mentioned if you walk out of the traffic areas no one will see you anyhow…… Have fun!!!

I know that both the French and Dutch side of St. Martin are nudity friendly; Some people go completely naked in more secluded beaches. It is just like in France or the Netherlands; no one will make a fuss if you are naked, but not everyone goes naked.
I don’t know about the other Caribbean islands except that the British and American ones don’t go for that in general. Basically, if the dominating country goes for beach nudity, then the island does.
So you may want to check out Martinique since they are also French.

Superclub resorts are all available with nude or clothing optional, but they have age restrictions of 18 or 21. St. Maartin has Orient Beach which is full nude.

The only officially designated public nude beach I know of in the Caribbean is Orient Beach on St. Martin. Other more private nude beaches can be found at the Sorobon Beach Resort on Bonaire and various other resorts such as Jamaica’s Hedonism resorts and other Superclubs resorts. Topless bathing is accepted in many places, including the rest of St. Martin, Curacao, St. Thomas, and other islands. Many Caribbean islands are either owned by or frequented by Europeans who have a more casual attitude than Americans have about this sort of thing. Even the very conservative Mexicans allow toplessness around Cancun and other areas on the Mayan Riviera, and my friends and I went completely nude on a beach just south of Tulum.

Dominican Republic, St Martin/St Maarten, Mexico. You can get away with bathing topless in just about any of the Caribbean Islands. Just be discreet if you are on a beach with families.
