Mexico is known for a lot of things, and one of them is the beach. There are several Grupo Mayan resorts that you can choose from, offering not only a good view of the sea but also an opportunity to enjoy countless water sports activities. However, even if most of these Grupo Mayan beaches are relatively safe—they do have their own life guards—your safety still remains your primary responsibility and priority.
To make sure that you can really have an enjoyable and safe trip to Mexico, take note of the following suggestions:
1. Practice swimming. A life vest can only do so much for you. You may have to learn the basics of swimming before you try to hit the waters. If not, ensure that you have a companion who can watch out for you as you wade yourself through the Grupo Mayan sea. You should also avoid going far from the sea shore, especially if the area is known to be a surfing paradise. The big waves may just bring you a lot farther, and you can be in big trouble.
2. Swim if there’s a life guard. Even if you know how to swim, there are still accidents that can possibly happen. Some of them can occur when you’re not in the waters. The risks for further complications are lower and chances of being safe are higher if there’s a life guard around.
3. Follow the rules. Every Grupo Mayan beach resort has its own set of rules that you have to obey at all times. They are not only meant to enforce discipline, but they are also created to keep their guests safe when they are already in the beach. Thus, if the policy says that children below 4 feet should not be allowed to swim, then by all means stick with it.
4. Check on the weather forecast. There are only few who would take the time to verify the weather for the day, but they don’t know that doing so can save their lives and even energy. How many times have you actually gone out to the Grupo Mayan beach, only to realize that the waves are just too big for you to handle? You can surf the Internet when you need more information about the wind currents and gales.
5. Protect yourself. You are going to be traveling into the unchartered waters. You cannot definitely determine what is waiting for you once you are already underneath the water. Thus, protect yourself as much as possible. You can wear goggles, so you can clearly see what’s underneath. You may also have to wear comfortable slippers to avoid hurting your feet with pointed rocks or sea urchins that could be lingering in the sea bed.
6. Take note of rip currents. Rip currents are strong and can take you very far from the shore. However, there’s no use in panicking. You will only make matters worse. What you can do is to go with the flow until you will be completely out of the current. Then immediately swim toward the shore. If you feel like you need help, shout for one or wave your hand.

Kite boarding or kite surfing—however you want to call it, one thing is for sure. It will definitely add more fun and sun into your Grupo Mayan vacation. Indeed, this one is considered to be one of the hottest water sports activities that you can do. It is exhilarating and intensifying all at the same time.
What Is the Sport About
As its name implies, this one is combination of two activities: kite flying and surfing. But since you are going to do this in the Grupo Mayan waters, there will be some differences. First, surf boards are larger than usual. Kites, on the other hand, are also not typical. They are also huge and sometimes heavy, which is important to ensure balance. The main objective of kite surfing is to maintain your balance while you are on board the surf board. Your height, weight, grip, and the weather of the beach will be the determining factors when it comes to choosing your equipment.
What to Do
But how do you exactly start with your kite surfing adventure in Grupo Mayan beaches? Here are some of the best ways:
1. Look for great spots in where you can start your kite surfing. Almost all Grupo Mayan beaches are currently offering this one, so you will not really have a difficult time looking for a spot. Nevertheless, to give you ideas, you can go to Isla Blanca, Los Barilles, and La Ventana. You can also hit up a number of popular spots, such as in Acapulco, Los Cabos, and Puerto Vallarta.
2. Get those equipment ready. As mentioned, you need two highly important things: surf board and a kite. There are a lot of them that you can find in the market, and they all come in various designs and features. You can select from the most basic to the state of the art. Of course, if you are just learning how to do the sport, you are better with the basic ones. If you cannot afford to buy your own gears, you can always rent them. The arrangement will be per equipment or hour of use.
3. Search for a trainer. You can watch all the videos of Grupo Mayan beaches as often as you want, but nothing still beats the real thing. That is why you should make it a point to seek a trainer once you are in the beach. This is also recommended for those who are already experienced in kite surfing. The waters are still different from those of Hawaii and other great kite boarding spots. You need excellent tips to help you get by.
Moreover, there are some training courses or kite surfing schools that are just nearby. You can enroll in one so you will definitely be handled by professional kite surfers. These ones already have the certificate to teach the sport. Most of them don’t really last for hours. After all, they still want you to practice what you’ve learned and just enjoy the beach.

Being in Mexico may mean changing your healthy habits. It’s not uncommon for tourists to be gaining a pound or even more of it when they go back home. After all, the Mexican dishes are simply sumptuous and that you can truly relax and just think of nothing else but yourself.
Fortunately, there are a lot of sports activities that you can do whenever you’re in Mexico. A lot of them don’t cost a lot, so you won’t have to think about spending more money for your health. What’s more, they are fun.
Snorkeling and kayaking. Chileno and Santa Maria are one of the best places to snorkel or kayak. You will surely learn to love the calm waters, which are ideal for snorkeling. You can also take your kayak along Santa Maria Bay and into the Sea of Cortez. Because these activities are completely safe, you can bring along your family, especially your kids.
Hiking. If you’re such a great lover of the mountains, you can take a pick among the many hiking and biking trails that will lead you to elevated portions of Mexico. One of the most traveled is a hike trail in La Laguna Mountains. If you’re in Jose del Cabo, it will take you around 1 hour before you can reach the peak. However, you would not surely mind as there are a lot of picturesque sceneries that you can find, and the view at the mountaintop is just so rewarding. There is also a natural pool and waterfalls where you can take a dip.
Kite Boarding. Kite boarding is one of the most exciting but highly dangerous water sports today. Most of the beaches in Mexico offer this. If you don’t have the necessary equipment with you, you can always rent them. And since this is relatively new sport, a number of them are willing to offer free tutorials and courses. If they aren’t, you can expect the fees to be very small and the classes very short.
Golf. There are a lot of greens all over Mexico, not to mention that there are scenic spots that will surely make this sport more engaging. Some of the Grupo Mayan hotels do have golf courses, which you can use for free as part of your sports package or at discounted prices because you’re their client. There is also a comprehensive staff who can watch you over when you’re playing the game.
Tennis. If golf is not your thing, then perhaps tennis is. There are also a lot tennis courts all over Mexico, even in accommodation choices like Grupo Mayan. You can pay by the hour or not at all especially if you select a sports package that is currently offered by the hotel.
You don’t need to put your health in jeopardy even when you’re out of your home and in Mexico. You can still keep yourself fit and very healthy. Of course, if you don’t want to spend on any of these activities, you can always take on one of the most effective exercise but completely free routines: walking.

Located in southern Mexico, Oaxaca is the historic homestead of the Mixtec and Zapotec peoples. With over 3.3 million permanent residents, this state is the 5th largest in the country. Located strategically with the Pacific Ocean to the south, the Chiapas to the east, Veracruz to the north, and Guerrero to the west, there is a lot to be said for this state with attitude.
When looking for authentic tradition, you will find Oaxaca, Mexico is one of the quickest growing destination spots in the country. In this state, you will find more speakers of indigenous languages as well. This means when you are looking for true Mexican hospitality with an infusion of past and present, no other place offers the versatility and reliability.
Oaxaca, Mexico has a rugged terrain, but nestled away is the Valley of Oaxaca. Thanks to a wonderful climate, this valley is one of the most fertile rich locations in all of the Americas. This has led to farming and agriculture being a heavy influence in this part of the country. Whether growing chocolate, corn, chilies, or beans, you will find that the countryside is alive with fruitful growing.
Even crops popular to this region such as avocados, magueys, and zapotes have found their way into our lives thanks to their delicious sweetness originate in this fertile land of opportunity. The Zapotec and Mixtec peoples also found this land to be rich and fertile which led to the area being home to something quite spectacular today.
Archaeological wonders abound in this area. With ores such as gold and silver being abundant, and fishing and hunting being readily available, Oaxaca, Mexico, was home to one of the most prominent ancient civilizations in the world. Mysterious ruins litter the countryside and, today, are visited with awe and wonder.
With such fertile lands rich in fruits, vegetables, and even meats, Oaxaca, Mexico has become one of the best culinary centers of the country. Delicious cuisine awaits those looking for something different. Of course, you may come for the food, but there is much more to this state.
With over 155 miles of beaches, and a countryside that has remained virgin and pristine, you will find Oaxaca is a hotbed of tourist activity. Celebrations and festivals welcome weary travelers looking for a piece of the past with modern day conveniences. Whether enjoying the night of the radishes (noche de los rabanos) or the day of the dead (dia de los muertos), you will find that the people welcome you to participate in these special events.
Just as the people of this sprawling state are diverse, so are the activities, festivals, cuisine, and opportunities. Often called “Land of the Seven Moles”, few people will ever experience Mexico like this. Whether enjoying an elegant dinner out or choosing to stay in, the cuisine is just one of the benefits of visiting.
Oaxaca, Mexico is a diverse state where anything is available. With so many people, you will find that activities as well as the amenities change. No where else on the planet can you find so many opportunities awaiting you first thing in the morning.

I’m planning an all-inclusive vacation to Mexico w/ my husband. Please tell me where the bluest/best beaches are. This will be my 1st time to Mexico. We travel habitually to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and love the beaches there and would love to find something comparable.
Please give your suggestions.
Tony is a fool, do not listen to him. If you are looking for an all inclusive place go to Playa del Carmen and look for Hotels in the Playacar area. Thats where the golf course is and its a gated community. The beach is amazing and safe.
The hotels there are Riu (3 of them i think), Sandos, The Reef, etc. If you want something better try the Mayan Palace.

There are a lot of reasons why you could be in Mexico, and one of them is because you simply want to relax. Fortunately, this is something that you can definitely look forward to, considering that there are several places that can offer you the comfort and rejuvenation that you need. For starters, you can book yourself in any of these locations:
1. Papaya Playa. Located in Tulum, Mexico, this is the beach resort that you should go when you’re looking for a place where you can have some privacy. This is a very lonely beach, which means there are hardly any people that you can run into here. What’s more, when you need some good meal, you can try out their restaurant. Most of all, the beach features white-sand beaches.
2. Playa del Amor. The fact that it’s found in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, gives you more than enough reason to be here. After all, it means crystal-blue beaches, very fine white sand, and beautiful coral reefs, which are perfect for scuba diving. Cabo San Lucas can also be a very good gateway when going to different islands that still make up Mexico. More than that, though, Playa del Amor gives you a lot of hidden coves that are just waiting to be explored.
3. Playa Chemuyil. When you’re looking for cheap thrills, this is the place to go. You see, not a lot of people are gifted when it comes to water. They don’t know how to scuba dive or try out more dangerous water sports activities. If you want to be more laid back in your approach to water, you can try snorkeling in Playa Chemuyil. Because the water is so clear, it’s very convenient for you to spot all the flora and fauna that are found underneath. This is also a nice and fun activity together with your children.
4. El Garaffon. The first thing that you have to remember when you’re here is that this is a protected area, which means you can’t do anything you want to unless you have the permission from their local environmental agency. Nevertheless, this is still worth visiting simply because of its countless tropical and unique marine life. There are numerous fish species that you can find here. Getting to El Garaffon is also not difficult, as you can choose to travel by boat or car.
Relaxing at a Grupo Mayan Hotel
Though there may be several beaches that can absolutely make you feel relaxed, you don’t need to leave your accommodation that much, especially if you’re staying in a Grupo Mayan hotel. With its world-class amenities and services, you are still assured of a grand stay here. Every hotel has its own fitness center, where you can get rid of the toxins in your body. A Grupo Mayan accommodation also contains huge swimming pools as well as sauna and spa rooms. Most of all, all rooms are designed to offer comfort and luxury to anyone who decides to stay here.
When you want to relax in Mexico, you know where to go. You can pack your bags and explore the beaches and coves, or you can just stay at a Grupo Mayan hotel.
