uhh, really? maybe because of it's a public indecency, and women have gained more rights in the US then any other country in the world, and they believe that it is wrong to have to look at other females naked while enjoying the beach. not only do the puritan influences also effect us today, but also the moral grounds that america was founded and based off of have a part in the law that has made america family friendly.

Obviously you dont get out much....there ar eplenty of topless AND NUDE beaches in the US

There are many beaches in the US at which swimwear or other clothing is not required. Look online for "clothing optional" beaches.

Actually the laws against topless sunbathing are state laws. There is no Federal law against it, and on a beach in my area within a National Park system nude sunbathing is allowed in designated areas.

the US, being as touristy as it is probably requires them because of the law that you need clothing in public no matter what. Also, dt all hang outo you really want to see a bunch of obese Americans "Letting it all hang out" in a public place??

Well I have been to all the Scandinavian countries as well as Russia so next on my agenda is one of the South American countries such as Brazil. But yeah I agree with you, South American countries would be really hot, and places like Finland, Norway, Sweden, etc have similar climates to where I live so I wouldn't be bothered by the cold.

Just clearing up what CraigR said…Maracas Bay is NOT the only beach in Trinidad…but i do agree it’s one of the nicest on the island, as well as Toco and in Tobago i really like Scarborough but there tends to be crowded depending on what day you go
