Is cancun the best place to go in mexico?

Looking at stuf on the net, it seems to have everything I want to see in Mexico- the beaches, mayan ruins, partying. Is there anything I will miss out on there? And can you go budget or is all expensive there?
Yeah i mean in like a year, hopefully will be restored?!

Yes it is, i live in Mexico City and each year i go 1 week to relax from the stress and noise of the city, Cancun has beutiful blue watter beaches, white sand, an incredible sun, great fun, is just like the paradise.
I recomend you use some days to visit the islands near from it, like Isla Mujeres, and Cozumel.

  1. Personally, i prefer Acapulco. A nice view, nicer neighboorhood, history landmarks, and serene beaches make for a dream vacation.

  2. it depends when you go (for being expensive). if you go now, it would be cheap, but if you went between xmas and march it can be quite expensive. if you do your research and pay attention to sales and stuff i am sure you could find a good deal during this time as well.

yes, cancun is quite the party place and there are many clubs. the beaches on the main hotel strip in cancun is not very good and at most places you would not be able to surf. if you go to tulum the beach there is AMAZING!!! it would be a good surfing spot.

    good luck!
