Miles and miles of white-sand beaches that contrast with the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, swaying palm-trees adorned with coconuts, gorgeous, year-round tropical temperatures, dense rainforests, intriguing cultures and friendly people, rich histories, and exotic landscapes and architecture — many people believe that the Caribbean region of the world, and the islands that occupy it, is paradise. For many, it’s hard to imagine that one small section of the world can occupy so much beauty.
The region of the world known as the Caribbean is comprised of more than 7000 islands, cays, islets, and reefs. Many of these islands have been grouped together to form countries. I am traveling from Europe to Caribbean on a cruise soon. Shall i carry my professional flippers with me?
I have a big experience in snorkeling and i was told in the sea excursions they provide snorkeling equipment. What do you advise me as i don’t like carrying extra weight.
If it was short travell i would’nt mind carrying my fins. But travelling from Europe to Miami using two plains i think is a bit of a fuss.
If you don’t feel like carrying your flippers, don’t. I’m sure they’ll be able to provide you with some rentals. I would definitely recommend that you bring your own mask and snorkel, however.

I believe if they’re professional, they’re called fins
I always take my own mask and snorkel and sometimes my fins. You can snorkel pretty well without fins if they provide only crummy ones, not so with a crummy mask or snorkel.
Enjoy your cruise!
